China receives $400,000 investment
The Asian Cricket Council has announced that it allocated $200,000 to the Chinese cricket authorities to promote the game inside the country, and that sum will be matched by the ICC, making the total investment $400,000.
The ICC are pandering to where the cash is found ...what a surprise
I think this is good for the game of cricket. China is a huge country and promoting cricket there will be a huge step in making cricket popular worldwide. The students in universities and schools are already playing cricket. Probably in ten to fifteen years, China will have its own professional cricket team and it will be fun watching them play cricket.
