There is no way the "Proposed" Constitution with its problems (briefly outline by Deb Das) can pass and hold a new election by the ICC Deadline. Is USACA going to be suspended by the ICC again? So what we have left is a limbo period undeterminable time in which Gladestone Dainty and his hand picked minons will continue to rule US Cricket in a manner described by Malcom Speed's letter released over a year ago. Dainty et al believe that the new "Marketing" agreement they have signed will potentially generate enough revenue to the ICC Members (India, as if they need the money; and the broke WICB) that they (ICC) will give them a pass. BTW, $10 Million?, how much of that will be converted into real cash and how much of it will be credited to in-kind services? Do not expect any real progress anytime soon.

USACA not doing proper job ... they should change the whole USA cricket board bring new talent. There is no system here ... I know a lot of players and a lot of coaches. They really have passion for cricket but we are trying to get sponsorship and looking for honest person to help us.

The basis of USACA's constitution - and that could very well be by design, is flawed. This recent spaghetti of a document recognizes the "club" as the basic unit of operation. This fundamental icon i.e. the membership must be the associations or the leagues. Of course that makes it possible for some fifty-odd leagues across the country to be present in a general meeting. I suspect, that is contrary to the aims of the leaders of USACA who aspire for perpetuity.

I think it's a good news that ICC has extended the deadline for elections. I am sure USACA Executives also wants to resoleve all the issues before that.

One thing the USACA Board of Directors and Executive Committee needs to do is come to table with an open mind and leave all the past problems behind and start fresh. We all care about our cricket and now is the opportunity for the Board and the Executives to work together. We should not let this opportunity get away from our hand. There are many dedicated people around the country who should step up and resolve these problems with mutual understandings. I have worked with some of the executives in the past and wiling to help in any manners they want us to do it. I have represented Centarl West region in past as Director. Let us find a common ground and do something for our cricketers.

With right combination of people we can achieve our goal and get lot of grass root support from all over the USA. First thing is to resolve the issues with the Constitution Draft and have an acceptable document. Do the Right Thing all the Time.

I think USACA is trying there best and working hard on improving there self. They have all the young guys in the team and best players from all over USA.

Instead we are all looking for the 1 negative thing instead of the all the positive things.

The fight has already started on the new constitution. What a bunch of jokers these executives are. None of them have held a bat in their hands but want to run a cricket board. Shame on all of them !!

I am sure USA has many talented cricket loving , level head people. We need to get some educated, and bright idea people on board. GET RID OF SELFISH AND NARROW MINDED PEOPLE ON THE USACA BOARD. They have not done any thing for cricket other than making a fool out of them selves and cricket players in USA.

Prickster is 100% right; the fight has just started on the new constitution. I dont know why ICC is still sleeping and keep giving USACA extation after extation; they are not going to call for new election.

Remember, ICC executives YOU are the ones who run cricket in the world. The future of US cricket is YOURS to shape and develop, not for those who act to represent (OR Miss-represent) Us in the cricketing world.

I am always amazed by those so-called pundits who, armed with little information, or more often than not, misinformation, is always prepared to unfairly castigate the duly elected officers of this body. Their time and energy could be better spent by using their skills to make some meaningful contribution towards fixing the 'ills, either real or percieved, that plague this organization. Let's all try to work together to put some fun back into the game for all and sundry.

Mr. Hall, Before you comment on concern cricinfo readers and the legal voting members of this association (USACA CLUBS); why not for a change you tell your boss to conduct free and fair election under ICC or a reputable CPA company, with all the USACA member clubs voting in the proses of electing the new board and new executives.

We the member clubs pays ours dues to USACA and we don't want to give this most important voting right to any one else, specially to some of his MICKY MOUSE league President friends. I don't know why he is so scared of clubs voting??? Can you ask him please???

USACA needs to contact with ESPN because they are partner with Indian Chennai in India. ESPN it self big company and it might help to develop cricket in USA. ESPN knows how much money cricket can bring in if it gets popular. Long term but good one.
