Mishra runner-up for Sportsman-of-the-Year award
Tanmay Mishra came second in the annual Sportsman-of-the-Year awards in Kenya, narrowly beaten by Alex Kipchirchir. More at CapitalFM.
Just a clarification for you - Mishra came second in the Most Promising category, not as your headline suggests the main category. He actually came second to swimmer, David Dunford. Kipchirchir won the overall award. None the less, it is good to see a cricketer feature in the awards - it has been a while between drinks.
