Scorecard
We hope to have a report from this match shortly.
I thought that the Zimbabwe board only used written propaganda and didn't go as far as doctoring scorecards as well. Can we assume that they will produce cards that show that they in fact did reach the super 8 stage of the world cup?
We all know what is going on in Zimbabwe. he comment by MK DON to my view in unfair and directed to the wrong organisation. To my understanding, the Zimbabwe government and not the cricket board restricts information coming out of the country. Positive criticism is welcome, and wonder if MK Don's was.
MK DON Is correct in his remarks the Zimbabwe Cricket Boards and the Zimbabwe government are one. In fact cricket is probably the highest earner of currency the government there has , Grah D
Grah D - the Zimbabwe Board are just corrupt and inept. The Zimbabwe Government are that and violent as well. Neither are fit to run a sweet shop.
The players inside Zimbabwe are real true crickets who only play because of their love for the game. Anyone else would have jumped ship a long time ago if they weren't in it just for the cricket.
ICC should provide more and more match to the Kenyan cricket. Kenya is a strong team . they need more one-day match to prove them self
This is good for Kenyan Cricket. But there should be more teams form (like Nairobi,Mombasa)Kenya playing in Domestic leagues of full members countries so that they get more first class exposure .
Thanks so much to Zimbabwe cricket for giving Kenyan cricketers an opportunity to improve their cricket now that the ICC is doing nothing but sharing the big cake amongst the top nation. South Africans should also come on board and help Kenya the way Australia have done to Bangladesh.
Thanks also to Cricket Kenya for having given our youngsters a chance to play in place of the seniors.
Kenya cricket needs to groom young players and pay them to go and attend coaching to countries like India and Pakistan as the cost is less in those countries.
Zimbabwe have no interest in Kenyan cricket . By inviting the Kenyans all they are trying to achieve is self preservation so they can continue taking ICC money to fill the pockets of the government members running Zimbabwean cricket
What happened to Alester Maregwede, the gritty middle order batsman, one of Zimbabwean players that are good at playing spin.I believe he is in Australia playing cricket.
Maregwede is still in Zimbabwe playing first class. Zim invited Kenya to make their league a bit more competitive. Pakistan was supposed to come as well but their domestic schedule clashed with Zimbabwe's so they had to pull out at the last moment. Either way both Kenya and Zim are benefiting from this.
NB Pakistan were never invited as a team but they were asked to send around a dozen players who would then have been used to boost the strength of existing sides.
