Dutch name side to tour India
A strong Dutch squad will fly to India next weekend to play four Twenty20 matches and three fifty-over games.
The side will be led by Peter Borren, and is largely made up of players who have represented their country over the summer. Only four of them, however – Borren, Ryan ten Doeschate, Adeel Raja, and Darron Reekers – were in the World Cup squad.
Click here for the full report from Cricket Europe.
Squad Peter Borren (capt, VRA), Atse Buurman (Voorburg), Jeroen Brand (Quick Haag), Mudassar Bukhari (VVV), Ryan ten Doeschate (Essex), Tom de Grooth (HCC), Maurits Jonkman (HCC), Somesh Kohli (Quick Haag), Geert Maarten Mol (Quick Haag), Adeel Raja (VRA), Pieter Seelaar (Hermes-DVS), Darron Reekers (Quick Haag), Maurits van Nierop (VRA), and Jelte Schoonheim (VOC).
Nice hope they can win any match there:) good luck to them
Peter Borren is my favourite player. Pete for P.M
Where is Alexei Kervezee? He's my favourite player...Maurits Jonkman is a good selection!
At last the Dutch are touring Asia. Some hard lessons about Cricket to be learned.
Tendo is my favourite! Maurits is in but his twin brother Mark is injured.
dutch are taking cricket very seriously. still they are not matured with this game. they will gain lots of experience through the india tour which will help them to improve cricket.
netharland is very strong in soccer and hockey. Now times has come to become strong in cricket. they are going to get big oppurtunity as they will be playing against T20 world chapmpion india.I am not expecting any good result by dutch.but they will learn a lot.Especially they will get lots of experience in playing spin ball.GOOD LUCK for dutch cricket team
