ICC suspends two Nepal bowlers

The ICC has suspended Sagar Khadka and Rahul Biswokarm, two Nepal spin bowlers, for possessing illegal actions.

The two spinners from Region No 4 Bhairahawa were part of the Nepali team that reached the plate final of the Youth World Cup held in Malaysia in February. As one of the key players of the team, Rahul took 10 wickets and scored 51 runs in six matches while Sagar took two wickets and scored 47 runs in as many matches.

“I have not been informed about this,” Rahul, considered a player for watch, said over telephone. “I don’t think my bowling action is suspicious and if there is any shortcoming, I can improve on that.”

Nepal is doing good these days despite the streak of bad luck in the early days. The guys have the potential but they lack lack consistency so they should work on it and the result will be beneficial.

Its not like that cricket team of Nepal can't do well at international arena. All things to be done by the board is to raise the standard on Nepali players try to provide all international facilities and coach too.

Its bit ufair to ban Nepalese Youth Bowler without notice. CAN also must have taken action to save them from the ban. They must have given warning first and then some time to improve their action and then only should have banned. ICC is always trying to dominate asians.

Its rediculous. cricket is the only sport in which nepal is doing good and there hasn't been a great issue while two of our emerging players are under ban. CAN must do something.
