Rare turf wicket spotted in Papua New Guinea
Turf wickets are rarer then hen's teeth beyond the Test world, but Papua New Guinea are the proud owners of a brand-new grass wicket in Kimbe.

'Rarer then hens teeth outside the Test world.'
Shoddy journalism I'm afraid. There are plenty, and I mean plenty, of turf wickets in Scotland, Ireland, Jersey, Holland, Namibia, UAE, Canada, Nepal, Denmark and all the West Indies nations. No doubt I have forgotten a few. Poor stuff, even if you allow for a certain amount of sensationalism intended in the report.
Must do better.
